Helping clients find their way through life's challenges
Jennifer Harris, PhD, MA, LMHC is a Washington state licensed mental health counselor who works with adolescents and young adults, accompanying them along their life paths. As the former director of the University of Washington’s Undergraduate Research Program and throughout her 20-year career in education, Jennifer has gained extensive experience advising high-achieving students on how they can leverage their personal strengths to help attain their goals. She also provides academic advising for those who plan to enter graduate and professional degree programs. For many, though full of potential, finding one’s way can be a difficult and lonely journey, especially those suffering from anxiety or depression. In her current practice, Jennifer brings warmth, humor, empathy, and respect to the application of evidence-based treatments such as cognitive behavioral therapy, behavioral activation, and mindfulness to partner with clients to help them get unstuck.
