Jennifer Begun
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
I specialize in helping support Duke students. Immediate availability and flexible scheduling for virtual sessions. Get the support you need today.
You are constantly comparing yourself to others. You also spend a lot of time caring for others and are lacking in the receiving end of the support you need. You are tired and burnt out. What if you could feel good about who you are? Imagine being happy about your life and feeling good about your relationships with others. My name is Jennifer (she/her) and I would love to talk more about how working together can help you feel better. Working with me can help you reduce overwhelm, feel better about yourself, live a meaningful life, heal from difficult events, and improve your relationships. I have been a clinical social worker for the last 15 years helping guide folks towards healing and meeting their goals. I am trained in psychodynamic theory which informs my work through the lens of intersectional feminism, ecotherapy, and somatic abolition. My practice is grounded in liberation for all and the healing power of nature. I am the best fit for those who are currently not experiencing any safety issues. I work best with those who are introspective and open to exploration. I am in-network with the Duke Student insurance plan through BCBS and Aetna including the State Health Plan.
