(She/Her/Hers)
Psychologist
I provide focused, time-limited therapy for those who are stuck and want to make real change in their lives. I also provide psychedelic integration work.
People often reach out when they feel stuck—caught in patterns that aren’t helping in their relationships with others or with themselves. I offer focused, time-limited therapy (typically up to 12 sessions) so we can set clear goals, stay intentional, and build momentum you can carry forward. We’ll clarify what genuinely matters to you, notice the patterns that keep you stuck, and help develop perspective and insight, but also, gain practical tools to help you make real and lasting change. My approach is grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Clients describe my style as warm, collaborative, and practical. My practice is LGBTQIA+ affirming and kink/poly affirming, and I strive to be culturally responsive and trauma-informed. I work with client on concerns such as relationship patterns, intimacy and sexuality, shame and self-criticism, and body image. I also work with people whose history of trauma or abuse is affecting their lives now, including challenges in relationships and difficulties with intimacy and sexuality. In addition, I often see people who feel a sense of disconnection from meaning or purpose and want to reconnect with what gives life direction. I also provide psychedelic harm-reduction and integration—preparation, risk reduction, and post-experience processing (including work related to Oregon Psilocybin Services). I do not provide or facilitate illegal substances. I see individual adults (sorry, no couples or families) in-person in Portland and via telehealth for clients in Oregon and Washington. If I’m not the best fit, I’m glad to help with referrals. By way of background, I co-founded and serve as President of Portland Psychotherapy Clinic, Research, and Training Center, work on clinical trials for psychedelic-assisted therapy, am a Peer-Reviewed ACT Trainer, and a Fellow of the Association for Contextual Behavioral Science. But above all, I’m a clinician, and providing compassionate, science-based, effective psychotherapy is the heart of my work.
