Jamie Ales
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
Isn't it odd? We can only see our outsides, but nearly everything happens on the inside. -Charlie Mackesy
Hello! I am Jamie Ales, LMSW and I obtained my Master’s degree in social work from Widener University with a specialization in trauma practice. I am currently under supervision to obtain my clinical specialist license. I have gained valuable experience working with adult survivors of sex trafficking as well as served in community mental health services at Pawnee Mental Health in Junction City KS. I primarily use cognitive behavioral therapy and narrative therapy along with other modalities of treatment with a trauma lens. I am a military wife and mom with rich life experiences. I am a proud ally and seek to help further cultural acceptance and tolerance. I bring warmth and acceptance, creativity, and a sense of humor to the therapy process as well as a therapy dog named Miah who is happy to give some cuddles if wanted.
