Helen Cheek
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Psychotherapist
I emphasize inclusivity, safety, and collaboration in therapeutic relationships and welcome anyone over the age of 18 into my practice.
I am a licensed certified (clinical) social worker and psychotherapist in Fayetteville, Arkansas. I have extensive experience treating survivors of intimate partner violence and sexual trauma, issues affecting women, anxiety and depression, life transition and adjustment-related issues, and interpersonal and relationship problems. I engage feminist and intersectional perspectives in treatment and promote emotional and mental safety in therapy. Managing life can be particularly challenging for many of us in today’s climate. I can help you process these experiences and develop personalized tools to foster resilience and empowerment. My practice offers a safe, inclusive, and warm atmosphere using multiple theoretical approaches to therapy. I emphasize collaboration in therapy to ensure that you feel comfortable with treatment goals and that you have control over the path we take throughout our therapeutic alliance.
