(He/Him/His)
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
I offer in person and online psychotherapy for individuals and couples. I help people struggling with addiction, depression, anxiety, PTSD, and more
Psychotherapy - for couples or individuals - can be a space to gain insight into your inner life and shift longstanding patterns. By examining your emotions, relationships, and past, you can gain a deeper understanding of how you became who you are and the choices you are making now. In couples therapy or individual therapy, we will explore the psychological dynamics operating outside of your awareness that are shaping who you are and how you relate. By examining these dynamics, and making the unknown aspects of yourself more known, you will gain insight and a deeper freedom to live a more fulfilling life. I practice depth oriented relational psychotherapy - or "psychoanalytic psychotherapy" - for couples and individuals. This means that I am not just interested in giving you a quick fix to your problem of the week, but in gaining a deep insight into the architecture of who you are and helping you create meaningful and lasting change from the inside out. Choosing the right therapist can be hard. It's important to look for someone you feel safe with and who you believe can help you. In my experience the best place to start is a short conversation on the phone. Reach out to me if you'd like to talk, and we can decide after that call if it feels like a good fit. I look forward to hearing from you.
