All identities and backgrounds are accepted and affirmed in my therapeutic space. Together, we will heal and grow. Helping you reach your goals.

Healing isn’t a straight line. It ebbs and flows as we move through life, relationships, and our inner world. As a systemic and relational therapist, I help clients explore how family dynamics, culture, power, identity, and environment shape the patterns that influence their emotions and connections. Our work is about understanding how these pieces intersect so you can move through the world with more clarity, intention, and self-compassion. My style is warm, grounded, and collaborative. I blend reflection and direct feedback to help you feel seen, supported, and gently challenged at the pace that feels right for you. You can expect me to bring curiosity, humor, and authenticity into our sessions. I show up as a real person, not just a clinician. As someone who is gay, brown, and neurodivergent, I understand that therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all. I approach our work with reflexivity and cultural humility, recognizing how our identities shape the space we create together. I’m mindful of the complexities of navigating multiple worlds, being proud of who you are while still carrying messages from family, faith, or culture that can make that pride feel complicated. My goal is to make room for all of those parts of you to exist without judgment. Clients who work with me often say they walk away with a stronger sense of self, clearer communication skills, and a deeper ability to stay grounded, even when life feels messy or relationships feel hard. Together, we’ll untangle old stories and relational patterns that no longer serve you so that you can build connections rooted in honesty, trust, and mutual respect. Whether you’re facing relationship conflict, attachment injuries, identity questions, trauma, anxiety, depression, or life transitions, therapy can help you make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface. You’ll learn practical tools for emotional regulation, boundary setting, and self-expression, while also developing the insight to understand why particular dynamics repeat themselves. My clients describe this work as both challenging and freeing, a process that helps them reconnect with their story, culture, and authentic voice. The outcome isn’t perfection, it’s wholeness. At The Better You Institute in Philadelphia, my approach is attachment-based, trauma-informed, and process-oriented, grounded in the belief that healing happens in relationship. You don’t have to navigate this alone. Together, we’ll build the tools, self-understanding, and confidence you need to step into your next chapter with clarity and courage.
