Gina Yu
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
I use a trauma-informed approach to help individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, and identity development.
Struggling with our mental health impacts relationships, work, and happiness, and are often the root cause of anxiety and depression. I work with individuals to create lasting change by lessening the impact of current symptoms while also developing a deeper understanding of the root causes of their struggles. I seek to understand their experiences and the effect they have on their lives, past and present. I use a holistic, integrated approach that incorporates person-centered, feminist, and multicultural theories. I am inspired to work with individuals struggling with relationships, women's issues, family of origin, and BIPOC/Asian American identity. My goal is to help you heal and develop a new sense of identity and fulfillment. I use a relational approach to therapy that is warm, compassionate, and attuned. I am committed to providing a safe environment for you to explore what it means to be your authentic self.
