Gay Haynes, MSW, LCSWA
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA)
Do not be dismayed by the brokenness of the world. All things break. And all things can be mended. Not with time as they say, but with intention.
Gay specializes in various challenges to include, but not limited to:life transitions, academic challenges, anxiety and grief, stress, couples counseling, trauma, PTSD, sexual abuse, caregiver burnout, chronic pain and illness. Gay believes everyone has the capacity for change. She serves people from all walks of life, is LGBTQ+ affirming, and values compassion, authenticity and kindness while helping clients move towards growth. Gay practices with the philosophy that therapy is a collaborative work-in-progress between therapist and client to formulate a plan of treatment that is best suited to individual needs and goals. She incorporates creativity, a sense of humor, and provides a safe and nonjudgmental environment where you can unpack and heal from the painful, challenging, and difficult parts of your life, and/or learn new strategies and skills, all while understanding that you don’t have to carry that weight alone.
