Emma Ottenhoff
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Empowered therapy for people with big feels.
I offer virtual, office and outdoor therapy services that are tailored for individuals who deeply experience emotions. I see youth ages 10+ and adults. You or your child might be feeling out of control (such as engaging in self harm or experiencing intense anxiety), out of place (uncertain about who you are or where you belong), shame, perpetually invalidated by society or relationships, or have a loud inner critic. People are usually a good fit when they're seeking connection, interested in experiencing life outside the box, and open to exploration and discovery. My goal is to provide a safe and nurturing space for clients to explore their inner selves, work through difficult emotions, and find ways to live a more fulfilling life. I believe that therapy should amplify your strengths, be affirming to who you are, and have a bit of adventure. I'd love to guide you through this journey with compassion and empathy. My clinical training and personal experience with mental health and LGBTQ identity connects me to my clients, and through our therapeutic relationship we are able to make progress toward healing and empowerment. I’m ready to listen, collaborate, and build together.
