Emily McDonagh
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Florida and a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist.
Prior to my work with eating disorders, I have worked in many clinical settings to include outpatient therapy, community-based therapy, psychiatric/residential, hospice and hospitals. I enjoy working with individuals, youth, and families needing support with life's daily challenges. I tailor treatment to individual needs and goals and incorporate Family Based Treatment, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Family System models, and mindfulness. I provide a non-judgmental, person-centered, and welcoming environment. I follow a HAES, intuitive eating, anti-diet, and body neutral/body positive framework. I strive to educate and empower others in order to produce acceptance, balance, and mindful positive change to improve functioning and emotional health and wellness.
