I am interested in you and your mental wellness! Please reach out so I can learn more about you and how I can help.
Hello! I enjoy working with people of different backgrounds and ages (13 and up) offering support for a variety of ailments including adjustment disorders, disordered eating, anxiety, depression, relationship distress, substance use disorders, perfectionism and people pleasing. I find ways to make therapy fun and experiential, so it feels like an adventure versus a chore. In my spare time I like to be outside in nature, spending time with family and friends, drawing, and traveling. Treatment Philosophy I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, components of Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, and Insight Oriented Psychodynamic Therapy to work with individuals and families to help them overcome challenges. I am committed to personalizing each therapy as much as possible to fit your needs. I am interested in achieving good outcomes and along those lines I will ask for feedback during treatment…sort of like when you get a massage and the therapist asks, “firmer, softer, or just right?” I aim to get clients feeling better quickly and have a special interest in brief treatment models for faster healing with options to extend the work into more growth-oriented work. Each appointment with me is an opportunity to learn and practice new ways to cope. Most sessions will end with a plan for what you will do between meetings to “turbo charge” your treatment. I am enthusiastic about helping you!
