Elizabeth Miller
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
I specialize in helping couples overcome conflict, distance, and parenting issues and find relational harmony and personal peace.
Hello! I am a relationship therapist, parent coach, and peer-reviewed author. My approach to therapy is based on understanding your presenting issues through a systemic lens, and helping you to have greater insight into areas that can promote positive change. I specialize in helping couples to overcome cycles of conflict and distance in their relationship by helping them to understand their patterns and focusing on each changing their own part in the patterns. I also specialize in treating couples struggling with parenting issues. My therapeutic approach to helping in this way is based on an approach I created called Balanced Parenting, which is based in Bowen Family Systems theory. The goal of my approach is to shift the paradigm of today's anxious parenting culture toward greater balance, promote self-reliance in children, and free parents from guilt and burnout. I would love to help you find the healing and harmony you desire in your personal life and relationships. Please reach out for a free, 15-minute consultation and check out my website, balancedparenting.org to learn more.
