Deepa Bhatt-Mackin
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC)
As a licensed clinical mental health counselor, I offer telehealth sessions for adolescents, families, and adults.
I assist clients with a variety of presenting issues, including anxiety, depression, neurodivergence (Giftedness/LD/ADHD/2e), relationship problems, and identity development. My extensive training includes a variety of therapeutic approaches, such as psychodynamic, attachment-based, Internal Family Systems, cognitive behavioral therapy, and solution-focused. I also provide ADHD and executive functioning skills coaching. I focus on building a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship by sharing my expertise, offering radical acceptance, and using humor to foster our connection. First, come as you are. Next, experience compassionate listening, deep questioning, validation, and mirroring. Finally, reconnect to your strengths, your sense of purpose, and your ability to laugh out loud! I have a special interest in supporting Gifted individuals, bicultural folx, and caregivers, such as parents, guardians, therapists, teachers, and other helpers. I provide care that affirms the needs and experiences of those who are BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and neurodivergent.
