Christy has over seven years of clinical experience as a mental health professional working with both individuals and groups from a wide range of ages and mental health experiences. They have worked closely with the LGBTQ+ community as well as college-age students, post-grad students, young-to-middle-age adults, and people from all walks of life who have experienced oppression, adverse childhoods, and traumatic events. Prior to becoming a therapist, Christy primarily supported neurodivergent individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Christy uses an eclectic approach while drawing on techniques from several evidence-based practices. Their background includes addressing concerns related to identity exploration, self-esteem, anxiety, social anxiety, stress, panic, feeling directionless, sadness, loneliness, interpersonal relationships, spirituality, and life transitions. Christy puts a little humor and a lot of heart into helping you feel understood and empowered.
