As a therapist, I see myself as a guide and partner in each client’s journey of discovery.
As a therapist, I see myself as a guide and partner in each client’s journey of discovery. Insights along the way come from hard work and trying something new. What courage that takes! I feel honored and grateful to have been a small part of the journeys I’ve joined with numerous patients in my work as a therapist. With clients, I take a client-centered, whole-person approach, not just addressing mental health or problematic behaviors, but also all the areas of life they impact and that impact them. On a personal note, I am happily married and have three wonderful children. I have come to the practice of psychotherapy first through my own spiritual journey as a seminarian, pastor, and hospital chaplain prior to my doctoral work in clinical psychology. When I’m not doing psychotherapy, I love playing soccer or basketball with my kiddos, reading new and interesting booking, and spending time with good friends.
