Brittany Bailey
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC)
I utilize a CBT, EMDR, and mindfulness approach to help clients feel understood & supported as they explore trauma, anxiety, & other concerns.
I strive to create a safe space where individuals who experience anxiety, trauma, and other mental health concerns are encouraged to authentically share their emotions and life experiences. My goal is to help clients develop a deeper understanding of their past and how it affects their current reality and interpersonal relationships through a holistic, trauma-informed, and person-centered approach with an emphasis on an individual’s strengths. I draw from the therapeutic approach of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and cultivating a practice of mindfulness. My hope is to be authentic, professional, and validating while helping you to feel understood and supported. I received my Master of Arts in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness from New York University. For about 10 years I worked as a spiritual life advisor on college campuses across New York City. In my master-level clinical experience, I worked at a college counseling center to help young adults process and heal from trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, and life transitions.
