Barbara Hodapp, MA, LCSW
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Queer, neurodivergent, human using relational, humanistic and emotion focused approaches to collaborate with you in finding the path to healing.
I see individuals, families, and relationships (off all kinds) and am passionate about collaborating with you in the therapy journey. I value authenticity and vulnerability and bring my personality to each session. Be prepared to laugh, cry and sit in some emotions as we engage in the complex work of healing. To help you better understand yourself and the patterns that are impacting you, I pull from Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) and attachment theory, and am relational, humanistic and person-centered. I also use DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy) and CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy) particularly in helping to regulate emotions, tolerate stressors and explore thought patterns. I often work with folks who are curious about who they are, want to "dig deeper," or are exploring themes related to gender identity/expression, sexuality, attraction and relationships. Additional specialty areas include relationships, eating and feeding issues, ADHD, life transitions, depression and anxiety. I practice from a HAES approach (Health at Every Size) and am queer and neurodiversity affirming.
