Amanda Walker
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
Lets work together! As a therapist, I value providing a non-judgmental, empathetic and collaborative relationship with my clients.
I am here to provide a space for you to learn and share what is going on in life, in a welcoming and supportive environment. You will find that in therapy with me, you are allowed to be yourself, all feelings are welcome and listened to. I look at the relationship between myself and you as a client as a partnership, where we work together to lay out all of the concerns, strengths, difficulties, positive and negative experiences, and sort them out together to find resolution to whatever may be occurring in your life. I believe you already have the skills needed to find peace, motivation, happiness and everything else you are striving for, I am here to help walk you through it. I work with all ages, including young children using Synergetic Play Therapy. I am also trained in EMDR for both adults and children, Exposure and Response Prevention (EX/RP), Trauma Resiliency Model (TRM) and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) and more.
