Congratulations on taking the first step to a healthier you! As a therapist, I offer a range of modalities and tailor them for each person’s needs.

As a therapist, I practice from a Solution-Focused perspective, where I partner with my clients to help them uncover strengths unique to each individual. I believe in setting goals and orienting a focus towards the future. I offer variety of interventions that support each client with where they are at and what goals they have. Interventions that I offer include: EMDR, Expressive/Art Therapy, Sand tray (I & II), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, TF-CBT, and Synergetic Play Therapy (Interpersonal Neurobiology). Creating a safe, accepting, and nurturing space is of utmost importance. My work always begins by educating my clients on their diagnoses and empowering them to be knowledgeable and active participants in the direction of their treatment. I also believe that therapy does not have to be a dreaded event- and have a variety ways to make sure it never has to be. I graduated from North Carolina State University with my Masters in Social Work, completing two years of clinical training, followed by 3 plus years of private practice- where I continue to be a life long learner of the treatments I offer. In my spare time I enjoy making crafting, and playing with my pugs and kitty cat.
