Aly Peeler
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Psychotherapist
LGBTQIA affirming; neurodivergence affirming; fat positive; trauma informed; anti-oppressive
I offer strengths-based, non-coercive therapy where folks can celebrate their strengths, explore coping and healing strategies, and feel empowered to meet their goals. I work with folks on concerns including depression, anxiety, self harm, suicidal ideation, trauma and complex trauma, and substance use. I am proudly LGBTQIA-affirming, neurodivergence-affirming, and fat-positive. I works to promote social justice within and outside of the therapy room, and recognizes how systems of oppression are closely linked with our mental health. I work with clients to find coping and healing strategies that work best for them. My work is informed by modalities that include motivational interviewing; harm reduction; somatic processing and polyvagal theory; coherence therapy, empowerment theory; Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT); and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
