I believe in a client-centered and affirming approach to care, and that a good therapeutic relationship is important to achieving the goals of therapy.

I believe in utilizing evidence-based treatment, and have been trained in cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and emotion focused therapy. I have a particular interest and expertise in adolescent and young adult adjustment, including coping with anxiety, depression, peer stress, and life challenges. I also provide cognitive and psychoeducational assessment (including executive functioning, ADHD, and learning disabilities), and I strongly believe in affirming care.
