What is an adult inpatient program? During an adult inpatient program, our dedicated clinical team helps patients who are experiencing psychiatric, emotional, and substance abuse problems. With our holistic and multidisciplinary treatment approach, we help patients develop coping strategies that can result in lasting behavioral changes. We work with patients who are 18 years of age and older, and most adult inpatient programs last between five and seven days. Our team customizes each treatment program to the patient's unique needs, and typical program outcomes include: Patients being able to set boundaries. Patients learning how to express emotions appropriately. Patients developing effective communication skills. Patients increasing self-esteem. Patients developing anger management skills.
