(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC)
Hi! I am a collaborative clinician who hopes you feel empowered in our work together. I remain committed to LGBTQ+ and anti-oppressive practices.
In my therapy practice, I collaborate with you around your wishes and hopes, ideally creating a space where you feel empowered and as much a facilitator of your progress as I am. I believe in the healing potentials of a safe and supportive relationship, and this is what I strive to cultivate with each of my clients. I am a cisgender and queer counselor with several years of mental health counseling experience in the Durham Triangle area. I feel confident working with folks around anxiety, depression, trauma, neurodivergence needs, and professional burnout within the helping and healing communities. I’ve worked in places that have instilled trauma-informed knowledge and body-based practices. I’ve got a background in work with children and adolescents, which gave me an appreciation for the significance of our early childhood experiences. Antiracist, anti-oppressive, and LGBTQIA+ affirming therapy is an ongoing practice in which I am fully committed to. I hope to hear from you soon!
