I'm a trauma specialist who can help you uncover the root cause of what's troubling you and help you move forward with confidence.

Hi, I’m Dr. Vanessa Roddenberry, a licensed psychologist and founder of Breyta Psychological Services. I specialize in helping individuals navigate challenges with compassion, curiosity, and proven strategies. I understand that college years bring unique stressors, often with transitions, academic pressure, relationship dynamics, and sometimes difficult life events that can feel overwhelming. My approach is supportive, interactive, and designed to help you feel safe, seen, and equipped to meet these challenges. With a background in trauma therapy, I have dedicated my career to helping clients heal from both single and complex traumas, anxiety, depression, and stress-related issues. I’m trained in evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which offer practical tools to manage overwhelming thoughts, find focus, and build resilience. At the heart of my work, I aim to help you live more fully in line with your values, recognizing your strengths, and finding growth even in life’s difficult moments. Whether you’re looking to manage stress, build confidence, or understand yourself better, I’m here to help you discover
