Psychologist
Licensed psychologist providing warm, evidence-based therapy for anxiety, OCD, trauma, and attachment—supporting insight, growth, and lasting change now.
Starting therapy in college can feel awkward, overwhelming, or like something you should do but don’t really know how to start. My goal is to make therapy feel human, supportive, and actually useful—not intimidating or overly clinical. I’m a licensed psychologist who works with college students and young adults dealing with anxiety, OCD, depression, trauma, relationship stress, identity questions, and burnout. Many students I work with feel stuck in their heads—overthinking everything, feeling behind, or constantly putting pressure on themselves to perform or “figure it out.” Others are dealing with panic, intrusive thoughts, emotional ups and downs, or just the sense that something feels off even if they can’t fully explain why. My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and practical. I’m not here to judge you, pathologize you, or tell you how to live your life. Therapy with me is a space to be honest, ask questions, and make sense of patterns in your thoughts, emotions, and relationships. We’ll work on tools that help in real life—while also talking about the deeper stuff when it matters. I use evidence-based approaches like CBT, exposure-based treatment for anxiety and OCD, attachment-informed therapy, and trauma-informed care, but sessions are always tailored to you. Some weeks we’ll focus on coping skills and strategies; other weeks we might slow things down and explore what’s underneath the stress. What makes my practice different is the balance between structure and genuine connection. I’m direct but supportive, thoughtful without being rigid, and focused on helping you feel more grounded and confident—not “fixed.” Therapy isn’t about having all the answers; it’s about learning how to handle uncertainty, emotions, and challenges with more clarity and self-trust. College is a lot. You don’t have to handle it alone. If you’re looking for therapy that feels real, supportive, and meets you where you are, I’d be glad to work with you.
