Tania Del Real
(She/Her/Hers)
Associate Marriage and Family Therapist
At SCAW, I support first-gens, cycle-breakers, BIPOC & LGBTQIA+ folx healing through identity, anxiety, & intergenerational pain—in community, with care.
Hola hola, I’m Tania (she/her)—a Lesbian/Queer, first-gen Mexican American therapist offering therapy in English, Spanish, and Spanglish. I support adults navigating anxiety, depression, identity exploration, trauma, life transitions, and healing from systemic oppression. I center LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC clients, and offer a space where your full self is welcome—messy, tender, joyful, and everything in between. As the eldest daughter of immigrants, I’ve had to unlearn silence and soften toward myself. That journey shapes how I show up—with warmth, curiosity, and deep respect for where you come from and where you're headed. I support folx in understanding their whole self—including their identities, family dynamics, cultural roots, and the systems that have shaped them. My approach blends somatic and relational practices with Narrative Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Liberation Psychology, and anti-colonial healing frameworks. Whether we’re processing grief, relationships, or burnout, I believe healing happens in connection. You don’t have to carry it all alone.
