Psychologist
Stephanie Brewer, PhD. I specialize in working with anxiety, OCD, depression, difficulty managing strong emotions, and relationship problems.
I am a licensed psychologist working with teens and young adults who have concerns related to anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), depression, difficulty managing strong emotions, and interpersonal/relationship problems. I offer evidence-based therapy focused on each person’s individual goals. I believe we can all find meaning, joy, and connection despite the obstacles life presents each day. My hope is to build a genuine connection with you so we can work toward the life you want. Together we will develop a treatment plan that integrates your inner wisdom with my expertise in evidence based techniques. I practice Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), a form of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) that incorporates mindfulness, acceptance, values, and behavior change — all in the service of a more fulfilled life. When working with OCD I use the most effective type of treatment for this condition — a form of CBT called Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP).
