Shana Schmidt
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), National Certified Counselor (NCC)
Welcome. My approach is to work with you to create a space that feels comfortable, and safe enough to find, explore, and grow your natural resilience.
I am so excited you are here. My approach to therapy is to show up as a human first. Trauma and healing is complex. Together we take some time to get to know each other and work together to create a space that feels flexible, comfortable, and safe enough to explore how to find, grow, and nurture your natural resilience. In the process of healing, we dive into parts of ourselves that most humans shy away from. Your courage to seek support on your journey does not go unnoticed. I believe the ability to listen in to our core being and pull from our truth is the essence of our existence and the beginning of healing and transformation. You will be encouraged to lean into what is right for You, and to dive into areas that match the core of who You were created to be. When we are held empathetically and wholly, we begin to find access to our true and natural healing potential. We make sense. We begin to see ourselves as more than just our survival patterns. We begin to find and meet ourselves. We get to see, understand, and love the very complex pieces of ourselves.
