Robert Ciampi
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
The goal of the therapeutic process is to help minimize or eliminate your unyielding discomfort. The work may be difficult, but the results rewarding.
Welcome! As we all know, the uncertainties of Life affect us all and managing and coping with these events range from mild annoyance and frustration to, at times, feelings of being completely overwhelmed. Stressors on the job, family of origin dysfunction, marital problems, child-related situations, anxiety, depression, and other issues can not only complicate and impede one's growth potential, but can affect emotional, spiritual, and physical health as well. Reaching out for counseling is the first step toward taking control of your Life. During the therapeutic process, you will have the ability to tell your story of what brought you into counseling. Through objectivity and active listening, I can provide a unique perspective on your situation and offer feedback to enhance the process. From this point of view, I can also begin to help you gain awareness and insight into your issues in ways that may prove to be new and enlightening. A lot of people tell me that they would like to get back to their "old selves" again. My strategy is to help folks be better than their "old selves" in order to reach their full potential.
