I'm a genuine and open psychologist who enjoys helping my clients gain meaning and purpose by living their lives in line with their values.

It can be difficult to examine what is not working in our lives and to experience feelings we have tried to avoid. I work collaboratively with clients to determine how the coping skills they developed to address life stressors have helped them to survive and adapt, yet sometimes don't serve them well in the present. I help clients make space for uncomfortable emotions by providing a warm and safe environment that empowers reflection on how their stories impact their health and identity. I work with young adult and adult clients with a variety of issues, including anxiety and mood disorders, life transitions, interpersonal problems, trauma, and grief. I can provide a particular emphasis in reproductive mental health, pregnancy/postpartum, and the transition to parenthood. My integrative perspective incorporates ACT, CBT, and mindfulness and includes an awareness of the mind-body connection. I collaborate with clients to transform their narratives by focusing on how adversity has shaped them as well as how it can lead to personal growth.
