Patricia (Pat) Patterson

Pat Patterson DNP, MHS, ACNP-BC, AACC, moved to Kansas from Massachusetts in 1985. Pat received a Diploma in Nursing from Jewish Hospital School of Nursing, a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and Masters in Health Administration from Wichita State University (WSU). She received a second Masters degree from WSU, as an Acute Care/Critical Care Nurse Practitioner. She is board certified in that specialty (ACNP-BC). In 2016 Pat achieved the highest level of education for nurses, graduating with a Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania in the specialty area of Acute Care/Critical/Gerontology and is certified by the ANCC. She is an active member of the American College of Cardiology (AACC) and serves on the Kansas Chapter Council. Her specialization allows a high level of understanding of acute and chronic diseases and interventions, recognizing the impact of illness in various disease states and behavioral health disorders.
