Helping athletes thrive - on the field, in life, and in themselves.

My journey into psychology was inspired by the 1999 U.S. Women's Soccer Team and their sport psychology consultant, Dr. Colleen Hacker. As a former athlete in field hockey and softball, I found a path to stay connected to the sports world through psychology. Over the years, my professional experiences have expanded to include work with college students, cancer patients, athletes, and individuals navigating various life transitions. I am a licensed psychologist and sport psychologist in California and Indiana, offering tele-health services from Livermore, CA. With 17 years of experience, I provide therapy for teens, young adults, adults, and seniors, addressing concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, eating disorders, sport performance, grief and loss, and gender and sexual identity development. I offer individual, couples, and group psychotherapy through a humanistic and existential lens, focusing on helping clients develop the tools and insights necessary to navigate life's challenges with greater clarity, authenticity, and resilience. I am honored to be listed on the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee Mental Health Directory (2025–2027), reflecting my commitment to supporting athletes' mental health and performance. I am in-network with Aetna, Anthem, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Blue Shield of California, Cigna, Health Net, and Magellan. I also accept out-of-network insurance, out-of-pocket payments, and offer a sliding scale for clients who may need it.
