Omid Azadi
(He/Him/His)
Psychologist
I provide individual psychotherapy for adolescents and adults, as well as couple and family therapy.
My main areas of expertise include relationship difficulties (including narcissistic and codependent styles), post-traumatic stress and complex trauma, mood disorders, substance use and behavioral addictions, spiritual and existential crises, adjustment and life-transition issues, adolescent development, parent-teen conflict, and grief. I support my clients through a unique synthesis of western psychology and eastern philosophy that blends the knowledge of the mind with the intuitive wisdom of the heart. Often, the person whom we experience ourselves to be, is a role that we were conditioned to play in early childhood. It is my goal to provide a safe setting and entrusting relationship to support you with finding out who you are beyond these constraints. I understand the vulnerability and courage it can take to address difficult problems and psychiatric symptoms. I approach my work with great empathy and respect for the vulnerability of the client. I deeply value the working alliance and I am committed to providing a warm, accepting environment that allows you the safety to explore the truth of your being.
