Robyn Bristow
(She/Her/Hers)
Counselor
I am passionate about the work I do and will meet you where you are on your journey.
Greetings! I’m Robyn and I am so excited to be a part of your journey! My bubbly, expressive, and warm personality attributes to a calm professional environment. I welcome individuals of all ages and backgrounds. I started my career as a teacher dedicated to working with children from birth to school age within childcare and school environments. In 2020, I received a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Substance Dependence from North Carolina Central University. Since, I have been able to use my prior experience to support a diverse population of individuals, 18 and older, seeking mental health and substance use services in agency settings. I utilize an eclectic approach to therapy implementing a variety of approaches based on the client’s specific needs. This includes a humanistic approach to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, and Solution- Focused Therapy (SFT). Through our work together, I hope to meet you where you are in your journey to support your progress towards determined goals in order to bring out the best in you.
