Counselor
Life happens. I specialize in emotion disorders and affirmative therapy for LGBTQI+ clients, but my primary goal is to help you live a well life.
As co-owner of the Wellife, LLC, my goal is to provide you a broad range of tools for the swiftest route towards symptom relief, growth development, problem-solving, well-being, and life satisfaction. I work together collaborativey to develop your goals so we can address any issues you have non-judgementally and with compassion. As a certified DBT therapist, I incorporate evidence-based techniques such as distress tolerance, mindfulness/acceptance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal strategies along with Internal Family Systems to address mood disorders, OCD, grief, stress, career needs, relationship issues, positive identity, family/work adjustment, coming out, and transition. My client-centered focus means I work with my clients to mutually co-construct the approach that best fits you for your unique strengths and personality and better reorient towards your values to explore new behaviors for optimal health and well-being. Clients find me empathetic, knowledgeable, non-judgmental, open, and trustworthy.
