Melissa Senior

Dr. Melissa Senior is a North Carolina Licensed Psychologist who works with children, adolescents, and young adults with a variety of socioemotional and academic needs. She received her Doctor of Philosophy in School Psychology degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She previously worked with college students with and without disabilities at UNC-CH for four years before serving as a school psychologist for Wake County Public Schools. She has served as a school-based psychologist in elementary, middle, and high schools for the last five years. Dr. Senior has extensive experience delivering comprehensive psychoeducational services to students with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, anxiety and learning disabilities. She also enjoys academic coaching with a focus on self-monitoring and developing executive functioning skills. Dr. Senior looks forward to working alongside families to understand evaluation results as well as navigate community and school-based resources.
