Melanie Lewis
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
Melanie helps children and adults overcome life's difficulties through talk therapy, mindfulness, yoga, and creative approaches to counseling.
Welcome! I know that looking for therapy for yourself or your child can feel like a big step, and I’m here to help. It’s normal to feel overwhelmed and unsure about what’s causing your stress or anxiety. You might be experiencing sadness or feeling disconnected. It’s also natural to feel overwhelmed when the way out of your situation is so hard to find. I specialize in creative therapies that include art and play, which allows me to connect with you in fun and creative ways to explore what lays underneath your feelings. If you prefer talking about your concerns, I offer traditional talk therapy as well. I can also include yoga and mindfulness techniques to help you relax, connect with your emotions, and lessen your stress. I understand that starting therapy can be scary, but my goal is to make you feel safe and comfortable. I want our time together to be enjoyable and freeing. Please feel free to reach out or visit our website to request an appointment. I would be honored to support you on your journey and help you through these challenges.
