Megan Murray
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
I help overwhelmed college students and athletes take charge of their well-being, find balance, and pursue their goals with confidence.
Many of my clients are college and graduate students and athletes who are burnt out, anxious, or overwhelmed. Many of them are feeling lost or unmotivated in the classes and sports they once enjoyed. They’re usually juggling a million things at once, neglecting their own needs, and turning to unhealthy ways of coping. Sometimes, the pressure to be perfect and to please everyone else is so heavy that their focus and performance start slipping. As a former high school social worker, women's basketball coach, and student-athlete, I understand how difficult and demanding these challenges can be. I also know that with the right support and strategies in place, IT IS POSSIBLE to discover your confidence and to achieve the balance, peace, and fulfillment you deserve. I offer in-person and online therapy so you can conveniently access support while navigating your busy schedule. My approach is strengths-based, which will involve a collaborative journey tailored to your unique values, strengths, and goals. You’ll receive a mixture of empathetic and reflective listening, thoughtful feedback, accountability, and new perspectives and tools for helping you manage your stressors effectively.
