Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW)
I believe that through mindfulness, self-care and wellness we are capable of developing healthy coping strategies to overcome life's challenges.
Taking care of yourself is one of the most generous things you can do for yourself and those around you. I believe that through mindfulness, self care and wellness we are capable of developing healthy coping strategies to overcome life's challenges–at any age. There is hope. We are not our mistakes. Our ability to self-regulate has roots back to childhood. Through therapy, it is my goal to walk beside you as you explore those roots and make meaningful connections in the pursuit of healing. I bring heart and warmth to each session and create a non-judgemental environment to heal in. I completed a Bachelor's Degree in Social work in 2011 and a Master's Degree in Social Work in 2016. Over the span of my social work career, I have had the opportunity to help individuals involved within the criminal justice system as they transitioned back into the community following incarceration. My experience also includes over six years of working with school aged children in the public school setting. My experience working within the public school system has given me a strong understanding of the educational system as well as effective and realistic strategies to help children who are struggling.
