Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN)
We offer group therapy through PHP/IOP services, medication management and case management to young adults with mental health and/or substance use issues.
Kiwi Recovery is a Partial Hospital Program (PHP)with an Intensive Out-patient Program (IOP) for young adults ages 18-24 years old with mental health and/or substance use issues. Our PHP offers group therapy from 9am-2:30 pm Mon-Friday. Along with group therapy, clients meet weekly with a prescriber and their case manager. Family involvement is encouraged if that is what the client wishes. For those with substance use issues, your goal is our goal. If you are seeking complete sobriety we can support you. If you prefer harm reduction, wanting to have control over your use of substance, we can support that too. In groups you have peer support and learn multiple skills to help you cope with and manage your mental health issues. If medication is indicated our providers can educate you on your options and prescribe psychiatric medicines. Your case manager will assist you in securing providers in the community to continue your treatment upon discharge from Kiwi Recovery. Most clients attend our PHP for 3-4 weeks, then attend IOP (usually mornings only) for 4-8 weeks while they transition back to work, school and recovery. We offer an alumni group for on-going support after discharge.
