If you like the Robin Williams therapist character from the movie "Good Will Hunting," that is who I try to embody.

State of the world got you down? Struggling to find the meaning and purpose in all this? Step into my office! I want to help you sift through all you've got going on and help you feel better. Along the way, we can help you heal from some trauma, unpack all that childhood stuff, set boundaries, feel less anxious, and maybe talk about trail running, cats, and Twin Peaks along the way. My work tends to have a psychodynamic and somatic flavor to it. I hold a certificate from the Sexual Health Certificate Program at the University of Michigan, focusing on Sex Therapy. I have completed Level 2 in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, and I am trained in EMDR. I also love to use IFS in my work, and intuitive eating is pretty cool too! I bring a personal touch to my therapy, and I try to create a warm, welcoming, and humorous environment. I like to take the time to get to know my clients, and to let them be themselves. I believe in helping people reach their best selves by fostering independence, personal growth, increased self-worth, insight, and acceptance.
