Marcy Chessler
(She/Her/Hers)
Psychologist
I welcome and affirm people of all identities in my practice.
Because you will be putting a good deal of time, money, and energy into therapy, you should choose a therapist carefully. I believe you should feel comfortable with the therapist you choose, and hopeful about the therapy process. When you feel this way, therapy is more likely to be helpful to you. I have more than 20 years helping people work through grief and loss, life transitions, relationship struggles, career indecision, anxiety and depression. In addition, I have considerable experience helping individuals struggling with issues related to sexual orientation and gender identity. My theoretical approach is based on existential and relational therapies. I view each client as an individual and honor cultural background. I will work to create a collaborative relationship with you in which you feel comfortable talking about your personal concerns.
