Mary (Maggie) O'Connor
Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC)
I am here to listen and help you work through any difficulties and challenges you may be facing.
Hi, I’m Maggie! I help individuals address emotional and behavioral challenges related to anxiety, depression, interpersonal struggles, stress, and school issues. We all recognize that life is tough right now, and my goal is to help everyone know that they are valued and important. I seek to create a therapeutic space that is comfortable and safe for all people. I take a person-centered and trauma-focused approach with each client with whom I work. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness, as well as coping skill development and practice to support people in addressing negative thought patterns, working through tricky behaviors, and learning how to experience and express feelings instead of keeping them in.
