Lindsay Humbel
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
We offer a safe and non-judgmental space to individuals and communities that experience discrimination and shame in seeking mental health services.
I invite you to join me in the counseling space and find relief from loneliness, isolation, and rejection, and comfortably be yourself. I aim to support you in building reciprocal connections in a safe and nonjudgmental manner through an honest, genuine and empowering therapeutic dynamic. I have experience working with adults on a variety of issues including those related to identity, relationships, life transitions, grief, anxiety, depression, and trauma-related disorders. My person-centered and trauma-informed approach combines CBT, DBT, mindfulness and strengths-based interventions to help people heal and form trusting relationships with others, whether it’s with peers, coworkers, family, friends or partners. I also enjoy helping people to reconnect with themselves and their emotions to nurture greater self-compassion, self-knowledge and self-expression. With an approach consisting of relational-cultural, existential and feminist components, I am passionate about and have additional training in working with queer individuals and athletes. Together, let’s discover a life that celebrates and honors your individuality while fulfilling your natural desire to connect with others.
