Dr. Lenny Wiersma is the Senior Mental Performance Consultant with the Cameron Institute for Student-Athlete Development at the University of California, Berkeley, and Professor Emeritus in the Department of Kinesiology at California State University, Fullerton. He also serves on the High-Performance Committee of USA Surfing, helping prepare surfers for international competitive success. He is a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) through the Association for Applied Sport Psychology specializing in Olympic, aquatic, endurance, and extreme sports and is listed in the United States Olympic and Paralympic Mental Performance Directory. He has worked with Olympic, professional, and college athletes from a variety of sports, including UFC fighters, Crossfit Games champions, and big wave surfers Between his careers at UC Berkeley and Cal State Fullerton, he served as Director of Performance for a professional Esports organization in Los Angeles, working with professional esport athletes.
