Leah Lorentzen
(She/Her/Hers)
Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
I specialize in cycles of abuse and helping neurodivergent people understand their diagnoses and learn healthy ways of coping through talk and art therapy
I embrace creativity in my therapeutic approach as an artist with firsthand, lifelong experience with the healing power of art. My life has been personally enriched by the arts, and it is a big part of my identity. In the therapy setting, I believe that art fills in the blanks where words do not suffice or are too painful to share. Art Therapy presents a unique opportunity to lessen some of the pressure you may feel talking about personal or painful experiences by projecting some of those feelings into the art-making and allowing the conversation to flow naturally from there.
