Med management with a specialty in anxiety disorders. I welcome people from all backgrounds, identities, orientations, and beliefs. 919-408-3212 ext 25

Laurie Timberlake is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner, and a three-time graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill. During her twenty-plus years of psychiatric nursing, she has worked with all ages, and in many subspecialties, including peripartum mood disorders and adolescent inpatient psychiatry. Ms. Timberlake is available to provide psychiatric medication management, ideally as a supplement to your ongoing relationship with a psychotherapist. She strongly believes that when psychiatric medication is needed, it is most beneficial alongside therapy. Ms. Timberlake strives to bring a reflective, holistic approach to her practice, and encourages clients to examine the impact of all aspects of their life on their well-being. She works primarily with school aged children, adolescents, and adults in our Chapel Hill office. She welcomes clients of all racial, ethnic, gender and sexual identities, as well as any or no religious or spiritual affiliations. Her specialized interest areas are anxiety, depression, ADHD, and OCD.
