Laura Williams
(She/Her/Hers)
Psychologist
I practice from a feminist/psychoanalytic/relational lens that understands societal oppression can be unconsciously internalized leading to PTSD etc.
I have 25 years of experience helping students with stress, family-of-origin issues, relational difficulties, sexual trauma, dream interpretation, and creative and writing blocks. I view the world through a feminist, culturally sensitive lens. I am a certified group psychotherapy, believing in the healing power of groups. My focus on college counseling began during my internship at Whittier College’s counseling center. I completed my postdoctoral residency in college counseling at the University of Rochester’s counseling center, where I was a liaison for the Eastman School of Music.
