I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Foresight Mental Health.
On a typical day, I treat patients with mental health issues such as anxiety, bipolar disorder, and depression, sleep disorders, ADHD those who struggle with substance abuse or the heartbreak of dementia, and many more. Although I can prescribe medication as a viable option, I have also been very successful with the holistic approach of listening and educating the patient before resorting to medication, and many times it is a combination of all three. I believe wholeheartedly that you should understand why you are taking medication(s) and I will discuss how you feel about pursuing the treatment plan in a team based effort.
